FOR VETTING IN NORTHERN IRELAND:
Please note that Access NI have introduced new IDENTITY CHECKING procedures (revised May 2019). This means that the identity of all voluntary or paid staff going through the Access NI process will be systematically checked and matched to their criminal record. These arrangements were put in place to minimise the risk to the recruitment process and safeguarding arrangements. Therefore, the Catholic Church Northern Diocese Vetting Office must now adhere to these new requirements. The Access NI Vetting Office will only accept ID Verification Forms with attached photocopies of the applicant’s identity documentation. Please note: If the Vetting Office receive ID Verification Forms without the required ID photocopies, they will be returned to the Parish. For ID Verification Forms, see below.
