As part of the preparation for the forthcoming Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacon Stephen Sherry from Tullycorbet on Sunday 26 April (Vocations Sunday), a Eucharistic Holy Hour is being held in 12 churches across the Diocese of Clogher on Thursday next, 23 April at 7pm (6pm in St Mary’s, Castleblayney). Everyone is invited to attend and partake in this special moment of prayer. You may also join online.
The churches in which the Holy Hour will take place are:
1 Ederney: St Joseph’s Church.
2 Bundoran: Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea.
3 Enniskillen: St Michael’s Church.
4 Dromore: St Davog’s Church.
5 Lisnaskea: Holy Cross Church.
6 Clogher: St Patrick’s Church.
7 Clones: Sacred Heart Church.
8 Truagh: Church of the Holy Family, Ballyoisin.
9 Monaghan: St Joseph’s Church.
10 Ballybay: St Patrick’s Church.
11 Castleblayney: St Mary’s Church.
12 Carrickmacross: St Joseph’s Church.
This Eucharistic Holy Hour is being organised by the Clogher Diocesan Vocations Support Group. It seeks God’s blessing on Stephen’s priestly ministry and to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood.
