On the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick, 11 February 2025, the details for the 2025 Clogher Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes were announced.
The pilgrimage in this Jubilee Year of Hope will take place 4-9 July 2025 and will be led by the Bishop of Clogher, Most Reverend Lawrence Duffy.
The theme of pilgrimages to the Sanctuary at Lourdes throughout 2025 is: “With Mary, Pilgrims of Hope”.
Lourdes is always a special place of peace and healing for the sick. Parishes and local communities are encouraged to promote this pilgrimage and to facilitate those who wish to make the pilgrimage. The pilgrimage staff will ensure that it will be an uplifting and peaceful experience for all.
The pilgrimage is also a time for young people from across the diocese to participate in this great work of prayer and Christian fellowship at the Shrine of Mary. Our youth ministry, Clogher don Óige, is already in the process of recruiting young people to travel to Lourdes this July.
The 5-day Clogher Diocesan Pilgrimage incorporates a daily programme and will include Mass at the Grotto, Celebration of the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, the Torchlight Procession, Blessed Sacrament Procession and the International Mass, along with other devotions.
The cost is from €1,050 per person sharing. This includes direct flights from Belfast or Derry and excellent hotels near the Grotto.
Below are details of the pilgrimage and a booking form. Intending pilgrims are invited to complete and return this form to the Pilgrimage Secretary
