Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Blessed (soon-to-be Saint) Carlo Acutis

An exhibition to honour the life and legacy of Blessed Carlo Acutis will be held in Saint Michael’s Parish Church in Enniskillen from Saturday 28th September to Thursday 17th October.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place at the 6pm Vigil Mass on Saturday, 28th September. There will be an opportunity for everyone to view the displays based on the life of Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) and also details of the many Eucharistic Miracles which have occurred throughout the world.

Blessed Carlo Acutis, as a child and a teenager was known for his devotion to daily prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament. He used his computer skills to research and catalogue Eucharistic Miracles, encouraging others but particularly the youth to follow his example. Blessed Carlo described his devotion to the Eucharist as his ‘ highway to heaven’. His strong faith and works of charity led to many family members and friends return to the Church.

At the age of fifteen, Carlo was diagnosed with a very rare form of acute leukaemia and passed away on 12th October 2006. Before his death he said, ‘ I am happy to die because I have lived my life without wasting a minute on those things which do not please God’.

There will be an opportunity to be blessed with the relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis at the 6pm Vigil Mass on Saturday, 12th October. All are welcome to attend this Mass or call to the Church to view the exhibition each day between 10.30am and 6.30pm from 28th September to 17th October.
