The launch of the 2019-2020 John Paul II Awards in the Parish of Donaghmoyne took place in Broomfield on Tuesday 26th November. Presentations were made on the night by Fr Michael Daly PP and the five award leaders and these covered the various aspects and benefits of the award. The award has gone from strength to strength in the parish since its launch only a few short years ago. There was a large attendance of both Parents/ Guardians and potential participants on the night. Refreshments were served afterwards.

To date 30 young people have committed to doing the Award in the coming year, so there is sure to be great work carried out in Donaghmoyne parish and community.  The first parish activity to be carried out by the young people is the decoration of Broomfield Church on Tuesday, 10th December.
