“COME HOME TO THE LOVE OF GOD’S FAMILY ON LOUGH DERG”
Mgr Joseph Mc Guinness, Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Clogher, will lead the Diocesan One Day Retreat to Lough Derg on Saturday 19th August 2017. Now in its fourth year, this day has proven to be a special occasion for many: individuals, families, groups, the parish family and the diocesan family.
Boats cross to the island from 9.15am. The retreat begins at 10.15am and concludes around 4.30pm. The programme outline is:
Morning
• Opening Prayer & Reflection
• The Spirituality of St Patrick through prayer & reflection
• Healing of memories
Lunch – soup & sandwiches, tea & coffee
Afternoon
• Sacrament of Reconciliation
• Time to experience the Island in peaceful personal reflection
* Celebration of Eucharist
* Departure.
It is advisable to wear warm and waterproof clothing as the weather can be changeable (pilgrims keep footwear on).
